Where Do You Write?

It may seem like where we write isn’t too important, but surely as writer’s we need to write in places that do their best to inspire us. At this moment, I am staring out of the window at the washing on the line, perhaps not the greatest locale, or perhaps I will write a gripping story about said washing. I doubt it.

So where do you write and why do you feel it helps you n your craft? Do you feel that the locale isn’t that important?

Great places to write could be in a library, or maybe in a coffee shop, amongst the hustle and bustle of passers-by. In that case however, I always try to source a corner seat. I don’t want any strangers prying on my work, especially if it’s the first draft..

      1. I know what you mean, and I wouldn’t do it with something conspicuous like a laptop, but on my phone it’s pretty subtle. I don’t think anyone is interested what you’re tapping away at.
