Honesty, the thought of editing over writing has always filled me with dread. Mainly because my exposure to the editing process was minimal up until this point.
Recently however, I have began to edit my story, scene by scene, and must admit that I find it enjoyable to see my story being refined and in places, extensively elaborated on too.
Would I go as far as to prefer editing to writing, perhaps not, but I am pleased that I have found my own sense of enjoyment in what I previously considered a tedious task.
